Add and remove Test Modes on a FieldLab Pressure Calibrator

Instructions for FieldLab Desktop app versions 2.0 and later


1. Connect the FieldLab to the FieldLab Desktop app 
Power on the FieldLab and connect it to a PC running FieldLab Desktop via a USB cable or wirelessly (for FieldLabs with a wireless radio installed).

2. Select Manage
On the Gauges screen, select Manage on the card representing the connected FieldLab.


3. Select the Test Modes tab.
The Test Modes tab displays all tests installed on the FieldLab.


To add a Test Mode

1. Select Add Test


2.a Select Add to Gauge for the Test Mode you want to add.
2.b Select Add Test.
Note that you can only select one Test Mode at a time.

To remove a Test Mode

1. Select the Manage text link in the row for the test you want to remove


2. Delete
Delete: If the test was created on the computer you are using, a copy will still be available in the Test Library after you delete it from the FieldLab.
Import: If the test does not exist in the Test Library, you can import it before deleting. When you select Import, the test will be added to the Test Library, but will not be deleted from the FieldLab.

Note that FieldLab Desktop will not allow you to add a Test Mode to a FieldLab if the maximum pressure specified in the test exceeds FieldLab's full pressure span.

1. Go to the Devices screen in FieldLab Desktop
With your FieldLab powered on and connected to your computer, go to the Devices screen in the FieldLab Desktop application.

2. Single-click on the FieldLab you want to add Test Modes to.


3. Select the Test Modes Tab
The Test Modes Tab screen allows you to view all the Test Modes that have been added to the FieldLab Pressure Calibrator, and gives you the ability to add more from the Test Modes Library.

4. Select ‘Add Test Mode’.
A list of all available Test Modes from the Test Modes Library will appear.

5. Check the Test Mode(s) you want to add
Select and add a check mark for each Test Mode you want to add to the FieldLab, and select ‘Add Test Modes’ to save them to your FieldLab.

Test Modes that exceed the FieldLab's max pressure and those that have already been added will be visible but unselectable.

6. Select the Add Test Modes button
FieldLab Desktop will automatically sync the selected Test Modes with your FieldLab.
