Connect a Field Gauge or Process Meter to FieldLab Desktop app with a USB cable

Idea
Connect one or more Ralston gauges to the FieldLab Desktop app to:
  1. Monitor and log pressure and temperature readings on your computer.
  2.  Update firmware on your Field Gauge.
  3. Manage settings on your Field Gauge.
Things you will need:

  1. USB cable Type-A to Micro-B cable, included with the purchase of the Gauge. Replacement USB cables are available from Ralston Instruments, as well as local retailers and online stores.


  1. FieldLab Desktop software is installed on your Windows PC. The software is free and can be downloaded here.

Instructions

1. Open the FieldLab Desktop app on your computer.

2. Plug the Type-A Male end of the USB cable into a USB port on the computer.

3. Plug the Micro-B Male end of the USB cable into the back of the Gauge.

4. Power on the Gauge. 

5. The gauge will appear on the Gauges screen of the FieldLab Desktop app.
