How to Place an Order Using the Ralston Instruments Distributor Portal

Purpose: This article explains how Ralston Instruments distributors can efficiently place an order using the Ralston Instruments Distributor Portal.  Note that this is only available to users who are employees of authorized Ralston Instruments distributors.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Accessing the Distributor Portal

  • Open your web browser and navigate to the Ralston Instruments Distributor Portal: https://distributors.ralstoninst.com/
  • Log in using your provided username and password.
    • If you do not have access credentials, contact your Ralston Instruments account manager or send an email to sales@ralstoninst.com.

2. Navigating to the Order Section

  • Once logged in, you will be directed to the distributor homepage.
  • From the homepage, find the Order section in the main navigation menu at the top of the screen.
  • Click on the Place an Order option to begin.

3. Searching for Products

  • Use the Search Bar at the top of the page to find products by product name, model number, or category.
    • You can also browse through product categories on the left-hand menu.
  • Select the desired product from the search results.

4. Adding Products to Your Cart

  • After selecting a product, review the product details to ensure it meets your needs.
  • Enter the quantity you wish to order.
  • Click the Add to Cart button.
  • Repeat this process for additional products.

5. Reviewing Your Order

  • Once you have added all desired products to your cart, click on the Cart icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
  • Review the products, quantities, and total cost in your cart.
  • If necessary, adjust quantities or remove items.
  • Confirm that all items are correct.

6. Entering Shipping Information

  • Choose your preferred shipping method from the available options (standard, expedited, etc.).
  • Enter the shipping address or select a previously saved address.
  • Ensure the shipping address is accurate and up to date.

7. Confirming Payment Details

  • Select your payment method. If applicable, you may have the option to use Net Terms, Credit Card, or Bank Transfer.
  • Enter the required payment details, and review any applicable taxes or fees.

8. Placing the Order
