How to Request a Quote from Ralston Instruments

At Ralston Instruments, we aim to make the quote request process as streamlined as possible for both end users and distributors. This guide outlines the steps for each group to request a quote efficiently.

For End Users

End users are individuals or companies that use our products for their own applications, such as calibrating pressure or temperature instrumentation, rather than reselling Ralston products. Follow the steps below to request a quote:

Step 1: Visit Our Website

  1. Navigate to the Ralston Instruments website.
  2. Browse the products or use the search feature to find the specific product you need a quote for.

Step 2: Add Products to Your Quote Request

  1. Once you’ve found the product(s) you are interested in, click on the product page.
  2. Click on the “Request a Quote” button on the product page.
  3. Enter the quantity needed and any other specific details about your application in the comments section to help tailor your quote.

Step 3: Submit Your Information

  1. Complete the quote request form with your contact information, including your name, company name, email address, and phone number.
  2. Include any additional information, such as specific application requirements, or if you are interested in bulk discounts or custom solutions.
  3. Submit the form. You will receive an email confirming your request.

Step 4: Receive Your Quote

  1. A Ralston Instruments representative will review your request and provide a detailed quote within 1–2 business days.
  2. You may receive follow-up communications for additional clarification or to confirm specific requirements before finalizing the quote.

For Distributors

Distributors are authorized partners that resell Ralston Instruments products to their customers. The process to get pricing differs slightly, as distributors have access to the Ralston Distributor Portal.

Step 1: Log in to Your Distributor Portal

  1. Visit the Ralston Instruments distributor portal.  You can reach this by clicking the "Access my Account" button on the top of every web page on www.ralstoninst.com.
  2. Log in using your distributor credentials. If you don’t have an account, contact your Ralston Instruments account manager to set up your access.

Step 2: Search for Products

  1. Use the search bar or browse the distributor catalog to locate the products you need.
  2. If applicable, reference your current distributor pricing catalog for general pricing. 
  3. When you have landed on a specific product the MSRP, your price and lead time will be displayed.

Step 3: Get pricing on multiple items

  1. Browse to the Account Overview page
  2. Scroll down to the "Pricing and Lead Time" section
  3. Select "Look Up Pricing by Model Number"
  4. Enter the part numbers you need pricing on.  You will see MSRP, your price and lead time will be displayed.
  5. Use this information to place an order on the Customer Portal
