Update Gauge Firmware

Ralston Instruments is always making improvements and adding useful features to make your job easier. You can take advantage of these improvements by updating the firmware on your FieldLab device.

This article applies to the following devices:

• FieldLab Digital Pressure Calibrator, all models.
• Field Gauge, all models.
  
• Process Meter, all models.

What you will need:

• A Ralston Instruments Gauge.
• A USB cable for the above devices (provided).
• A PC running FieldLab Desktop software. Download the latest version for free.

To see if new Firmware is available, connect the FieldLab device to a PC running FieldLab Desktop with the provided USB Cable and Power it On.

Select the FieldLab device you wish to update from the Devices screen in FieldLab Desktop.

If new Firmware is available, there will be a notification with an orange Update button. Select it.

A progress screen will appear during the update process. Do not unplug or power off the device while it is updating.

The device may power off during the update process. This is normal.

Once the process is complete you can Power On your device and get back to work.
