Remove zero offsets on a gauge with FieldLab Desktop

Remove zero offsets on a gauge with FieldLab Desktop

Info
This article applies to all Ralston gauges that have a pressure sensor installed.

The remove zero offset feature is available in FieldLab Desktop versions 2.0 and later. If you have the FieldLab Desktop App installed on your computer, update to the latest version from within the app. If not, the software is free and can be downloaded here.

If you manually zero your gauge while pressure or a vacuum is applied, the offset will be stored in the gauge memory and will apply to all future readings until you remove it.

Remove zero offsets from your gauge

1. Connect your gauge to FieldLab Desktop.
Connect via USB, or wirelessly if your gauge has a wireless radio.

2. Select the "Manage" button on your gauge card.
On the Gauges screen in FieldLab Desktop, a gauge card will be visible, displaying summary device info and a Manage button to access additional settings.

3. Select the "Sensors" tab.

4. Select "Restore Factory Zero".
Some Ralston gauges have more than one pressure sensor. You can perform this action individually for each sensor installed on the gauge, as desired.
