Update edits to custom fields on your FieldLab

Update edits to custom fields on your FieldLab

Info
Applies to FieldLab Desktop versions 2.0 and later
When you edit and save an existing custom field name, the edit will automatically update in all Test Modes saved in the Test Library. Any Test Modes that use the edited custom field and are installed on a FieldLab will need to be deleted and re-added for the edits to take effect.

Before or after editing a custom field, check which Test Modes use it so you know which ones to delete and re-add on your FieldLab.

To see which Test Modes a custom field is used in:
1. Go to Preferences → Test Modes → Custom Data Fields → Edit.

2. Select the custom data field name. The names of the test modes in which the custom field is used will be listed at the bottom of the modal.
